"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being" reads the simple post on Apple's home page. And Apple CEO Tim Cook today sent this email to all Apple employees. Elsewhere online, the sadness is rolling in. Bill Gates writes: "The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come. For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it's been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely." On Facebook Mark Zuckerberg posted: "Steve, thank you for being a mentor and a friend. Thanks for showing that what you build can change the world. I will miss you." And President Obama released this statement: "Steve was among the greatest of American innovators - brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it." #RIPSteveJobs - thank you - and you will be missed.

Anonymous Hackers Release alleged pepper spray NYPD Officer's Personal Info
The Anonymous activist collective today released personal information about a New York police officer who is believed to have sprayed pepper spray on women protesters on Wall Street. The group released phone number, addresses, names of relative and other personal data for a New York police officer, as well as photos that appear to show him at the protest and a closeup of his badge. The Occupy Wall Street organizers also called for the resignation of Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and released additional video from the incident on the protest Web site.
In a statement, Anonymous said:
"As we watched your officers kettle innocent women, we observed you barberically (sic) pepper spray wildly into the group of kettled women. We were shocked and disgusted by your behavior. You know who the innocent women were, now they will have the chance to know who you are. Before you commit atrocities against innocent people, think twice. WE ARE WATCHING!!! Expect Us!"

Tampa teacher who admitted sex with student let off probation early
A Florida judge cut short Thursday the probation of Debra Lafave, a former Tampa middle school teacher who six years earlier pleaded guilty to having sex with a 14-year-old boy, a state law enforcement official said.
She originally was sentenced to house arrest. That was reduced to probation in July 2008, and was set to expire on November 15, 2015 -- 10 years after she entered her plea -- said Mark Cox, a spokesman for the Hillsborough County state attorney's office.
The slave's sister, as well as prosecutors, argued unsuccessfully Thursday against letting her off probation, he added.
Judge Wayne Timmerman issued his decision after the hearing in Tampa, which lasted more than an hour.
"We disagree with the judge's decision," Cox said. "We will seek relief at the appellate level."
The prosecution claims that when it agreed to the 2005 plea deal, Lafave had agreed that she would not try to terminate her sentence early.
The 31-year-old woman, who is engaged and recently had twin sons, did not speak at Thursday's hearing. But her defense attorney, John Fitzgibbons, earlier said that she had served a significant punishment and wants to return to some semblance of normalcy.

BuxGrow is a very high "paying" pay to click website. They have the highest rates making them seem the best, but after a lot of recent down time "due to admin maintenance" I decided to look into it before I waste anymore time (as I have over $20 but now see I won't be getting a dime)

The Magic Date for an iPhone 5 (It's Soon!)
The most highly anticipated gadget of the season, Apple's iPhone 5 could be here in 13 days reports AllThingsD citing anonymous sources. That's also the day Apple is currently expected to hold its next big media event, and it will be newly installed Apple CEO's first product debut, although no official invites have been sent out yet. This latest news fuels the usual rumor mill hype around Apple's upcoming launch. Last week the shape of Apple's upcoming Iphone 5 was apparently revealed when accessories maker Case-Mate 'leaked' images of a case for the device, The Inquirer recaps. Which begs the question: When can we get our hands on one? Fortune does the analysis of announcement to available dates and says all signs point to 17 days or less from Oct 4.
