The Anonymous activist collective today released personal information about a New York police officer who is believed to have sprayed pepper spray on women protesters on Wall Street. The group released phone number, addresses, names of relative and other personal data for a New York police officer, as well as photos that appear to show him at the protest and a closeup of his badge. The Occupy Wall Street organizers also called for the resignation of Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and released additional video from the incident on the protest Web site.
In a statement, Anonymous said:
"As we watched your officers kettle innocent women, we observed you barberically (sic) pepper spray wildly into the group of kettled women. We were shocked and disgusted by your behavior. You know who the innocent women were, now they will have the chance to know who you are. Before you commit atrocities against innocent people, think twice. WE ARE WATCHING!!! Expect Us!"

Tampa teacher who admitted sex with student let off probation early
A Florida judge cut short Thursday the probation of Debra Lafave, a former Tampa middle school teacher who six years earlier pleaded guilty to having sex with a 14-year-old boy, a state law enforcement official said.
She originally was sentenced to house arrest. That was reduced to probation in July 2008, and was set to expire on November 15, 2015 -- 10 years after she entered her plea -- said Mark Cox, a spokesman for the Hillsborough County state attorney's office.
The slave's sister, as well as prosecutors, argued unsuccessfully Thursday against letting her off probation, he added.
Judge Wayne Timmerman issued his decision after the hearing in Tampa, which lasted more than an hour.
"We disagree with the judge's decision," Cox said. "We will seek relief at the appellate level."
The prosecution claims that when it agreed to the 2005 plea deal, Lafave had agreed that she would not try to terminate her sentence early.

The Magic Date for an iPhone 5 (It's Soon!)
The most highly anticipated gadget of the season, Apple's iPhone 5 could be here in 13 days reports AllThingsD citing anonymous sources. That's also the day Apple is currently expected to hold its next big media event, and it will be newly installed Apple CEO's first product debut, although no official invites have been sent out yet. This latest news fuels the usual rumor mill hype around Apple's upcoming launch. When we think about all the reasons that conference presentations are difficult to deliver, difficult to enjoy as an audience, and difficult to remember, it's amazing that we hold conferences at all. Sure, the idea of gathering like-minded people for one or more days of great conversation is appealing. But what really happens even at good conferences is that the stream of information presented is mostly just background noise. The real value of the conference often happens between individuals who are between presentations.
If you are presenting at a conference, you would probably like your presentation to make a real contribution to the way your audience thinks and makes choices. You would probably like to provide something more than background noise. The trick is to acknowledge that the conference setting provides a particular set of challenges. Then you can consider how to change what you say so that your presentation is both useful and memorable.
Conference presenters face a special set of challenges as speakers. A conference is a place where many people gather to hear many speakers in a short time. The speakers address similar topics, some of which are of more interest to the gathered audience than others. The criminal background check is performed by the FBI. It requires that you fill out a form giving them all types of identifying information and have yourself finger printed by someone from your local law enforcement.
The law doesn't require that you have an absolutely clean record but if you have any charges or convictions for crimes involving children you will not be approved. Anything else will be handled on a case by case basis.
The home study is performed by CPS and is used to determine whether or not the potential adoptive family has the financial resources, space for the child and that the home is appropriate and safe. The focus is less on the physical inspection of the home, although that is important, but more about how the family relates to one another and their background, relationships and feelings on certain issues such as discipline and similar issues. The home study takes into account: Marital stability, Family and friends as a resource network, Reason for the adoption
Basic parenting skills with a focus on discipline and building sibling relationships, Physical and mental health of the potential adoptive parent or parents, Ability to handle sensitive issues faced by adopted children such as: abuse, the birth parents, growing up in a different ethnic or cultural environment and dealing with different Simply put the Attorney Ad Litem is an attorney appointed by the court to represent the child. Their job is to determine and express the child's interests while at the same time making sure that the child is not being taken advantage of or disadvantaged in any way by the adoption. The court will ask them to report on their findings and if they are against the adoption the chances that the court will disagree are slim.
Eventually you will appear before the judge and ask that he or she order the termination and grant the adoption. Some judges require that these two events happen at different hearings. The reason being that the terminated parent could technically appeal and have the termination overturned which would then overturn the adoption. To avoid this the judge terminates the biological parent and then makes you wait until their appeal date has passed before granting the adoption.

Organic Verses Non Organic - What You Should Know
Have you ever wondered why today's society has been plagued with so much more sicknesses? Every day we hear of another disease that has just been discovered and then, bam, they found a prescription drug to "treat it". There is a reason that organic food, clothing and products are becoming more popular. We know we should eat organic, but what about the bed we spend so much of our lives in. I have put the time into researching the mass chemicals and pesticides that are put into the crops that grow the product we surround ourselves in daily.
Currently it is estimated that cotton cultivation is responsible for over 25 percent of all chemical pesticides used in American crops. On the average a grower uses 5.3 oz. of chemical to produce one pound of cotton. In fact a pesticide known as DDT was banned from the United States in 1972 because of the extreme side effects caused to humans. It aids in pesticides living in the blood stream and is virtually undetectable by any doctor. This chemical is still used in other countries where we import much of our bedding, clothing and other consumables. Skin is the largest eliminator gland in the body so it is important to realize that what we put on our skin gets absorbed into our system.
Another key point is that our skin is our first line of immunity and is extremely permeable to all chemicals. This has been proven and sets forth the reasoning that much more of today's medicine is being administered through patches. Tests have shown that this way of administering drugs is 95 percent more effective than oral medication. To most people, including myself, the labels on items we purchase seemed to convey a different language.
